All too often our patients end up saying two things:
1. I wish I had found you sooner, but I just didn’t know where to look.
2. I am so happy that we decided to do the treatment this way.
This is because access to high quality dental care is a major issue in the state of Georgia when it comes to patients with special needs. There are thousands of patients who need to have dental treatment completed but simply aren’t able to sit in a dental chair and have a procedure performed. We have routinely treated patients with autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, healthy children under the age of four whose behavior will not allow in office treatment, and healthy children who have a lot of dental treatment who would be best serviced if it was all done at one time.
Some patient’s are unable to complete dental treatment in office because it isn’t safe due to their medical conditions. This is why, we never force treatment in our office and are able to work with other medical institutions to find the right environment for these children. If needed, we treat them at either Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta or a pediatric surgery center. Whether it is a cleaning, X-rays, fillings, crowns, or extractions, this treatment can be completed in a very safe and comfortable way when the patient is treated in a hospital setting. This allows us to provide high quality dental treatment in a comfortable manner.
